Hotel Information
Hotel reservations should be made when you register for the conference. A block of rooms is being held for BREW 2002 Developers Conference attendees at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. Conference attendees will receive the reduced rate of $199 for a traditional room and $219 for a deluxe room. To guarantee a room at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina you must secure it with a major credit card. Your hotel confirmation number will be emailed to you once your reservation is confirmed. The deadline for hotel room requests is Thursday, April 25, 2002. Reservation requests made after this date will not be guaranteed special rates or availability.

If you did not complete your hotel room request while making your conference registration and wish to reserve a room, you must contact Jennifer Stermon, the BREW 2002 Housing Manager at jstermon@ndegree.com. Changes to your reservations must be sent via e-mail by Thursday, May 30, 2002, to Jennifer Stermon, at the above email address.


Directions
From San Diego International Airport via car: Exit terminals and parking lot area by following signs for Harbor Island Drive. The hotel is .063 miles on the right. The hotel is across the street from the airport and travel time is approximately 3 minutes. Please note that the Sheraton has two towers. The conference will take place in the East Tower (first tower you come to on the right). Attendees will receive notification as to which tower their hotel room is in, along with a confirmation number, soon after booking.

The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina offers a complimentary shuttle service between the airport and the hotel from 5:30am-midnight. Vans depart every 15 minutes for your convenience from the hotel lobbies. The shuttle will drop all attendees off at the correct tower where their hotel room is located.


Directions to the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina from Interstate 5:
Proceeding on Interstate 5 NORTH, exit Hawthorne Street/San Diego Airport exit. Follow N. Harbor Drive to Harbor Island Drive. At Harbor Island Drive turn Left on to the island. The Sheraton San Diego East Tower is on the immediate Right. To get to the Sheraton San Diego West Tower, proceed to the corner and curve to the Right. It is the second hotel on the island.

Proceeding on Interstate 5 SOUTH, exit Sassafras Street, San Diego Airport. Follow to Laurel Street and turn Right. Stay in the Right lane as it will merge into N. Harbor Drive. At Harbor Island Drive turn Left on to the island. The Sheraton San Diego East Tower is the first building on the Right. To get to the Sheraton San Diego West Tower, proceed to the corner and curve to the Right. The entrance to the West Tower is also on the right.

American Airlines and United Airlines are the official airlines for the BREW 2002 Developers Conference.


American Airlines
Call American’s international toll-free number 1-800-433-1790 to book your reservations and you will receive a 15% discount off all coach and business fares and 5% discount off First Class fares. Travel may originate outside the U.S., but tickets must be issued from within the U.S./Canada. Make sure you refer to Authorization number A3452AM. Discount is only valid May 28 - June 8, 2002. The reservation line is open 7days a week, 5 am to 12 midnight, CST.


United Airlines
Call United’s toll-free number 1-800-521-4041 to book your reservations and you will receive a 15% discount off all unrestricted coach fares and 5% discount off First Class fares. Travel may originate outside the U.S., but tickets must be issued from within the U.S./Canada. Make sure you refer to Authorization number 500NZ. For international flights, you will receive a 10% discount off all coach and business class fares on United/United Express flights and 15% off unrestricted coach fares on United/United Express flights. Make sure you refer to Authorization number 501NZ. Discount is only valid May 28 - June 8, 2002. Additional 5% discount applies for tickets purchased 60 days prior to travel.


Conference Cancellation
All requests for cancellation must be received in writing. Refunds will be issued less a 20% cancellation fee. The deadline for cancellations is Thursday, May 2, 2002. If sending your cancellation by regular mail, your request must be postmarked by the deadline date and mailed to the address below.
